California High School Football - Encinal felled by Alameda
October 2, 2015: Alameda, CA 94501 In Friday's non-league game, the Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA) football team were victorious over the visiting Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA), by a score of 39-23.
The Hornets (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA). The Monarchs come into the West Alameda County - Shoreline game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Mt. Eden was knocked off by Tennyson (Hayward, CA), 40-14, in a non-league game.
The Jets now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Castro Valley for a West Alameda County - Foothill game on Friday, October 9. Encinal will battle a Trojans team coming off a 40-28 non-league loss to James Logan (Union City, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-4.
