Maryland High School Football - Calvert Hall drops to McDonogh
October 16, 2015: Owings Mills, MD 21117 In Friday's league game, the McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) football team knocked off the visiting Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD), by a final score of 21-0.
The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD). The Cavaliers come into the MIAA A game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Archbishop Spalding was dropped by Gilman (Baltimore, MD), 48-7, in a league game.
The Cardinals now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mount St. Joseph for a MIAA A game on Friday, October 23. Calvert Hall will battle a Gaels team coming off a 13-12 league loss to St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD). The Gaels record now stands at 5-3.
