Ohio High School Basketball - Miami East overwhelms Covington
January 12, 2013: Covington, OH 45318 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Miami East Vikings (Casstown, OH) and the host Covington Buccs (Covington, OH), saw Miami East's basketball squad trounce Covington by a score of 92-38.
With the victory, Miami East improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Graham Local (St. Paris, OH) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 15. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Graham Local lost 51-37 in their recent league challenge against Northwestern (Springfield, OH)
Next up, the Buccs battle the National Trail Blazers (New Paris, OH) in a Cross County challenge, on Thursday, January 17. Covington will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Blazers come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 51-43 league win over Newton Local (Pleasant Hill, OH).
