Washington High School Basketball - Snohomish holds off Issaquah
December 29, 2012: Snohomish, WA 98290 Snohomish Panthers (Snohomish, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Issaquah Eagles (Issaquah, WA), 54-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Snohomish upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Panthers host Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA) to play the Warriors in a 4A Wesco - South bout on Wednesday, January 2. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Edmonds-Woodway won 57-40 in their recent non-league bout against Kennedy (Burien, WA)
In their next game, the Eagles face the Roosevelt Roughriders (Seattle, WA) in a 4A KingCo game, on Friday, January 4. Issaquah will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Roughriders enter the game with a 3-8 record after their 75-50 non-league loss to Shorewood (Shoreline, WA).
