Kansas High School Basketball - Moundridge holds off Ell-Saline
February 12, 2013: Moundridge, KS 67107 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Moundridge Wildcats (Moundridge, KS) and the visiting Ell-Saline Cardinals (Brookville, KS), saw Moundridge's basketball squad hold off Ell-Saline by a tally of 41-40.
With the victory, Moundridge improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Peabody-Burns (Peabody, KS) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 15. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Peabody-Burns lost 43-24 in their recent league challenge against Little River (Little River, KS)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Ellinwood Eagles (Ellinwood, KS) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 15. Ell-Saline will attempt to advance on its 13-4 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 11-7 record after their 79-16 league win over Larned (Larned, KS).
