The Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets thwarted the host Show Low Cougars football team by a count of 34-20 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Round Valley (Eagar, AZ) to encounter the Elks in a 3A East outing on Friday, October 30. The Elks go into the outing with a record of 6-2. Round Valley won 34-19 in their recent non-league outing against Safford (Safford, AZ)

With the loss, Show Low moves to 6-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Payson (Payson, AZ) to encounter the Longhorns in a 3A East outing on Friday, October 30. The Longhorns go into the outing with a record of 3-6. Payson won 52-0 in their recent league outing against Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ)
