Maine High School Football - Gardiner trounces Oceanside
October 7, 2011: Gardiner, ME 04345 In Friday's league match, the host Gardiner Tigers football squad scored a big 51-8 victory over the Oceanside Mariners.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Madison/Carrabec Bulldogs (Madison, ME) in a B Pine Tree match, on Friday, October 14. Gardiner will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 55-36 league loss to Waterville (Waterville, ME).
The Mariners (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Hornets enter the B Pine Tree match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Leavitt routed Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME), 22-17, in a league match.
