October 7, 2011: Winston-Salem, NC 27101 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) and the host Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC), observed Wheatmore's football squad bounce Atkins by a count of 52-14.
The Warriors now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Trinity for a 2A PAC 6 match on Friday, October 14. Wheatmore will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 54-7 league loss to T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-8.
The (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Yellowjackets enter the 2A PAC 6 match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Carver was crushed by Randleman (Randleman, NC), 35-7, in a league match.
