California High School Football - Verbum Dei knocked off by Christian
September 17, 2011: El Cajon, CA 92019 Christian Patriots (El Cajon, CA) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Verbum Dei Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), 34-12 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Christian improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Brawley (Brawley, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 23. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-1. Brawley lost 41-28 in their recent non-league test against Hoover (San Diego, CA)
With the loss, Verbum Dei drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Blair (Pasadena, CA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, September 24. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 1-1. Blair lost 40-0 in their recent non-league test against Duarte (Duarte, CA)
