The Springfield Cougars triumphed over the visiting Strath Haven Panthers lacrosse squad by a score of 11-3 in Thursday's league bout.

With the triumph, Springfield upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Cougars host Conestoga (Berwyn, PA) to play the Pioneers in a Central bout on Tuesday, April 20. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Conestoga won 10-6 in their recent non-league bout against Darien (Darien, CT)

With the defeat, Strath Haven drops to 4-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA) to play the Friars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 20. The Friars go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic lost 8-5 in their recent non-league bout against Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, NJ)
