The Neshoba Central Rockets crushed the visiting Northeast Lauderdale Trojans baseball team by a count of 11-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Rockets now possess a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Canton for a 5A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, April 2. Neshoba Central will face a Tigers team coming off a 15-0 league win over Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 1-8.

Next, the Trojans face the Northeast Jones Tigers (Laurel, MS) in a 4A Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, April 2. Northeast Lauderdale will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 12-7 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Richton (Richton, MS).
