May 1, 2019: Flemingsburg, KY 41041 The West Carter Comets got by the host Fleming County Panthers baseball team by a count of 6-5 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Comets now possess a 16-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elliott County for a District 62 bout on Thursday, May 2. West Carter will face a Lions team coming off a 15-0 league loss to West Carter (Olive Hill, KY). The Lions record now stands at 5-16.
Next, the Panthers face the Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) in a District 61 bout, on Wednesday, May 1. Fleming County will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 24-3 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Bracken County (Brooksville, KY).
