Connecticut High School Baseball - Berlin holds off Fitch
May 14, 2019: Groton, CT 06340 Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT), 6-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Berlin upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Redcoats travel to Maloney (Meriden, CT) to battle the Spartans in a Central Connecticut - South test on Friday, May 17. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 9-10. Maloney won 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT)
With the defeat, Fitch falls to 9-7 on the season. The Falcons host Waterford (Waterford, CT) to battle the Lancers in a non-league test on Thursday, May 16. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 11-6. Waterford lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT)
