East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS), 17-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, East Union upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Urchins travel to Walnut (Walnut, MS) to battle the Wildcats in a 2A Region 1 test on Tuesday, March 26. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 6-7. Walnut lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS)

With the defeat, West Union falls to 6-4 on the season. The Eagles host Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS) to battle the Eagles in a 1A Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 26.
