March 1, 2019: Spring Branch, TX 78070 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Tompkins Falcons (Katy, TX) and the host Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX), saw Tompkins's baseball squad beat Smithson Valley by a margin of 5-2.
Coming up next, the Falcons play the Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 2. Tompkins will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 6-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Madison (San Antonio, TX).
The Rangers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clemens for a 6A Region IV District 26 battle on Tuesday, March 5. Smithson Valley will play a Buffaloes squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-5.
