Washington High School Basketball - Stanwood tops Archbishop Murphy
January 27, 2022: Stanwood, WA 98292 Stanwood Spartans (Stanwood, WA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Archbishop Murphy Wildcats (Everett, WA), 56-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Stanwood upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 29. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 14-7. Mount Vernon lost 68-61 in their recent non-league bout against Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors (Edmonds, WA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 31. Archbishop Murphy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 47-46 non-league loss to Mountlake Terrace (Mountlake Terrace, WA).
