The Lowndes Vikings nudged the visiting Luella Lions baseball team by a tally of 7-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now hold a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coffee for a 1-AAAAA bout on Tuesday, March 15. Lowndes will face a Trojans team coming off a 9-8 league loss to Valdosta (Valdosta, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-1.
