Texas High School Baseball - Tom Bean loses to Lone Star
March 5, 2011: Frisco, TX 75034 The Lone Star Rangers crushed the visiting Tom Bean Cats baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Rangers now possess a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lone Oak for a non-league bout on Monday, March 7. Lone Star will face a Buffaloes team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Ford (Quinlan, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 4-4.
Next, the Cats face the Whitewright Tigers (Whitewright, TX) in a 2A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, March 8. Tom Bean will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-6 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX).

Tyler Levan pitched 6 innings allowing on 5 hits while striking out 6 as Frisco Lone Star defeated the Tom Bean Tomcats in the Championship game of the Panther Classic in Bells 12-2.Levan also went 3 for 4 at the plate.
