Season Outlook

St. Augustine is coming off a 13-2 season that ended with a loss to Naples in the 3A state championship game. The Yellowjackets graduated four all-state players, including QB Kawaun Jakes, but they have all-state LB Ronnie Floyd returning with the usual stockpile of talent moving up. LBs Ronnie Floyd and Blake Brown and DLs Mike Mayoral and Darryl Lee will lead a defense that lost it's entire backfield to major D-I programs. RBs Marlon Williams and Cardale Brown and QBs Ethan Gumble (a JR) and Jerry Shugart will headline the offense.
