The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA) and the host Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA), observed Cypress's basketball team knock off Millikan by a score of 51-41.

The Centurions (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against La Habra (La Habra, CA). The Highlanders come into the Freeway challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, La Habra was knocked off by Upland (Upland, CA), 50-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) in a Moore challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Millikan will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 63-52 non-league loss to Pioneer (Whittier, CA).
