Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals (Whittemore, MI), 73-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Oscoda upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Owls travel to Mio-Au Sable (Mio, MI) to clash with the Thunderbolts in a North Star bout on Thursday, January 13. The Thunderbolts go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Mio-Au Sable won 49-36 in their recent league bout against Alcona (Lincoln, MI)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Rogers City Hurons (Rogers City, MI) in a North Star bout, on Thursday, January 13. Whittemore-Prescott will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
