Caddo Hills Indians (Norman, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR), 76-71 in a league bout.

With the win, Caddo Hills upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Indians travel to Western Yell County (Havana, AR) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Western Yell County won 61-52 in their recent league bout against Future School of Fort Smith (Fort Smith, AR)

Next up, the Tigers play the Murfreesboro Rattlers (Murfreesboro, AR) in a 2A Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 13. Acorn will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Rattlers go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 58-41 league win over Foreman (Foreman, AR).
