The Airport Eagles basketball team (West Columbia, SC), was toppled 51-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC)
The Mustangs now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aiken for a AAAA Region 4 battle on Friday, January 13. Midland Valley will confront a Fighting Green Hornets team coming off a 75-39 league loss to North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Fighting Green Hornets record now stands at 9-7.
The Eagles (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Thoroughbreds come into the AAAA Region 4 battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, South Aiken was toppled by North Augusta (North Augusta, SC), 61-49, in a league battle.
