Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Elizabeth Bulldogs (Elizabeth, LA), 71-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Anacoco upgrades its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Pitkin (Pitkin, LA) to play the Tigers in a B District 4 bout on Friday, January 13. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 15-11. Pitkin lost 53-46 in their recent non-league bout against Merryville (Merryville, LA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) in a B District 4 bout, on Friday, January 13. Elizabeth will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
