Magnolia Panthers (Magnolia, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR), 86-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Magnolia upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Panthers host Malvern (Malvern, AR) to play the Leopards in a 4A Region 7 bout on Saturday, January 14. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Malvern lost 55-40 in their recent league bout against Nashville (Nashville, AR)

Next up, the Panthers play the Camden Fairview Cardinals (Camden, AR) in a 4A Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 13. Ashdown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 76-60 league win over Arkadelphia (Arkadelphia, AR).
