The Atlantic Trojans basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Clarinda Cardinals to 51 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlan for a Hawkeye Ten contest on Friday, January 13. Atlantic will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 47-44 league loss to Glenwood (Glenwood, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 4-4.

The Cardinals (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sidney (Sidney, IA). The Cowboys come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Sidney was routed by Stanton (Stanton, IA), 74-61, in a league contest.
