The St. Paul Cardinals basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Austin Waldorf Roadrunners to 35 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concordia for a TAPPS 2A District 5 contest on Friday, January 13. St. Paul will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 65-48 league win over Sacred Heart (Hallettsville, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 15-7.

The Roadrunners (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart (Hallettsville, TX). The Indians enter the TAPPS 2A District 5 contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Sacred Heart was routed by Concordia (Round Rock, TX), 65-48, in a league contest.
