The Mason County Eastern Cardinals basketball team (Custer, MI), was overwhelmed 65-44 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Baldwin Panthers (Baldwin, MI)

The Panthers now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mesick for a West Michigan D battle on Thursday, January 12. Baldwin will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 83-19 league win over Walkerville (Walkerville, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.

The Cardinals (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Marion (Marion, MI). The Eagles come into the West Michigan D battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Marion trounced Brethren (Brethren, MI), 50-34, in a league battle.
