The East Liverpool Potters (East Liverpool, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Beaver Beavers (Lisbon, OH), 53-39 in Tuesday's league test.
The Potters (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Steubenville (Steubenville, OH). The Big Red go into the Ohio Valley AAAA test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Steubenville went down by St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH), 79-66, in a non-league test.
The Beavers now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Harrison Central for a Buckeye 8 test on Friday, January 13. Beaver will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 86-45 league win over Edison (Richmond, OH). The Huskies record now stands at 5-6.
