The Beggs Demons basketball team (Beggs, OK), was nudged 54-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Kellyville Ponies (Kellyville, OK)
The Ponies now possess a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eufaula for a Big Eight Star battle on Friday, January 13.
The Demons (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Preston (Preston, OK). The Pirates come into the Big Eight Star battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Preston edged Henryetta (Henryetta, OK), 89-62, in a non-league battle.
