With the win, Benjamin upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Northside (Vernon, TX) to play the Indians in a 1A Region II District 16 bout on Friday, January 13. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Northside lost 64-32 in their recent league bout against Electra (Electra, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Chillicothe Eagles (Chillicothe, TX) in a 1A Region II District 16 bout, on Friday, January 13. Electra will attempt to upgrade on its 17-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-12 record after their 93-14 league loss to Munday (Munday, TX).
