North Carolina High School Basketball - Burns overwhelmed by Bessemer City

The Burns Bulldogs basketball team (Lawndale, NC), was overwhelmed 80-59 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC)

The Yellow Jackets now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Tech for a 1A/2A Conference 40 battle on Friday, January 13. Bessemer City will confront a Rams team coming off a 73-72 league loss to Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 5-8.

The Bulldogs (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers come into the non-league battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Kings Mountain trounced South Point (Belmont, NC), 66-62, in a league battle.
