The Jumpertown Cardinals basketball team (Booneville, MS), was overwhelmed 84-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS)
The Lions now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheeler for a 1A Region 1 battle on Friday, January 13. Biggersville will confront a Eagles team coming off a 68-47 league win over Thrasher (Booneville, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 9-6.
The Cardinals (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Falkner (Falkner, MS). The Eagles come into the 1A Region 1 battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, Falkner trounced Ashland (Ashland, MS), 80-58, in a non-league battle.
