The Bloomfield Warhawks basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Newington Nor'easters to 43 in the Warhawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warhawks now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocky Hill for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Bloomfield will meet a Terriers team coming off a 48-43 non-league loss to Whitney RVT (Hamden, CT). The Terriers record now stands at 0-7.
The Nor'easters (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hartford Public (Hartford, CT). The Owls enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Hartford Public was outscored by Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT), 59-34, in a non-league contest.
