The Blooming Grove Lions (Blooming Grove, TX) basketball felled the visiting Eustace Bulldogs (Eustace, TX), 56-48 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region III District 18 test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Palmer thwarted Malakoff (Malakoff, TX), 57-41, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-17 record. They play next when they host Mildred for a 3A Region III District 18 test on Friday, January 13. Eustace will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 62-36 league loss to Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-13.
