The North Polk Comets routed the visiting Boone Toreadors basketball team by a final score of 66-45 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Comets face the Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA) in a Raccoon River game, on Tuesday, January 17. North Polk will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record.
With the defeat, Boone moves to 5-7 on the year. The Toreadors travel to Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA) to face the Monarchs in a non-league game on Friday, January 13. The Monarchs enter the game with a record of 6-3.
