Capital Golden Eagles (Boise, ID) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Borah Lions (Boise, ID), 77-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Capital upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Eagle (Eagle, ID) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Southern Idaho bout on Thursday, January 12. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Eagle won 66-62 in their recent league bout against Centennial (Boise, ID)

Next up, the Lions play the Kuna Kavemen (Kuna, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho bout, on Thursday, January 12. Borah will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Kavemen go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 58-53 non-league loss to Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID).
