Texas High School Basketball - Bowie trounces Irvin

The Bowie Bears (El Paso, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX), 63-30 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bears (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Harmony Science Academy (El Paso, TX). The go into the 4A Region I District 1 test with a 18-5 record. In their last test, Harmony Science Academy walloped Varsity Opponent (, ), 85-23, in a non-league test.

The Rockets now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Austin for a 4A Region I District 1 test on Tuesday, January 17. Irvin will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 63-47 league win over Bowie (El Paso, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 12-11.
