Iowa High School Basketball - Paton-Churdan overwhelmed by Boyer Valley

The Boyer Valley Bulldogs basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the host Paton-Churdan Rockets to 45 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Harrison for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Boyer Valley will battle a Hawkeyes team coming off a 71-44 non-league win over Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA). The Hawkeyes record now stands at 9-1.
The Rockets (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA). The Crusaders come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Coon Rapids-Bayard triumphed over Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA), 68-34, in a non-league contest.
