The Brashear Bulls basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Obama Academy of International Studies Eagles to 47 in the Bulls league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulls now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry Traditional Academy for a Pittsburgh City contest on Friday, January 13. Brashear will battle a Commodores team coming off a 75-32 league loss to Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, PA). The Commodores record now stands at 4-9.

The Eagles (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA). The Golden Rams enter the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Highlands nudged Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA), 95-28, in a league contest.
