The Early Longhorns (Early, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Breckenridge Buckaroos (Breckenridge, TX), 66-59 in Tuesday's league test.
The Longhorns (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Comanche (Comanche, TX). The Indians go into the 3A Region I District 8 test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Comanche got by Dublin (Dublin, TX), 72-48, in a league test.
The Buckaroos now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Peaster for a 3A Region I District 8 test on Friday, January 13. Breckenridge will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 83-26 league win over Millsap (Millsap, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 17-5.
