The Brennan Bears tipped the visiting Holmes Huskies basketball team by a final score of 82-76 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 game, on Friday, January 13. Brennan will attempt to move on its 19-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 6-14 record after their 73-49 league loss to Taft (San Antonio, TX).

With the defeat, Holmes moves to 11-11 on the year. The Huskies host O'Connor (Helotes, TX) to face the Panthers in a 6A Region IV District 29 game on Friday, January 13. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 16-9. O'Connor won 66-47 in their recent league game against Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX)
