In Tuesday's league outing, the Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA), by a count of 77-74.
The Wolves (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Black Knights go into the AAAAAAA Region 8 outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, Central Gwinnett was tipped by Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA), 46-44, in a league outing.
The Hawks now hold a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Dacula for a AAAAAAA Region 8 outing on Friday, January 13. Mill Creek will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 65-64 league win over Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-12.
