The Burlington Wildcats basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Osawatomie Trojans to 35 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eureka for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Burlington will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 74-67 league loss to Fredonia/Elk Valley (Fredonia, KS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 1-7.
The Trojans (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Prairie View (La Cygne, KS). The Buffalos enter the Pioneer contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Prairie View was routed by Anderson County (Garnett, KS), 59-17, in a non-league contest.
