The Polytech Panthers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Caesar Rodney Riders to 38 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cape Henlopen for a Henlopen - Northern contest on Thursday, January 12. Polytech will battle a Vikings team coming off a 73-43 league win over Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 7-1.

The Riders (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE). The Golden Knights enter the Henlopen - Northern contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Sussex Central triumphed over Milford (Milford, DE), 65-59, in a non-league contest.
