Texas High School Basketball - Calhoun knocked off by Rockport-Fulton

The Rockport-Fulton Pirates basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Calhoun Sandcrabs to 50 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ingleside for a 4A Region IV District 30 contest on Friday, January 13. Rockport-Fulton will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 53-40 league loss to Sinton (Sinton, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-7.
The Sandcrabs (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Jones (Beeville, TX). The Trojans enter the 4A Region IV District 30 contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Jones ran past West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX), 53-46, in a league contest.
