Carbon Hill Bulldogs (Carbon Hill, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Oakman Wildcats (Oakman, AL), 55-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Carbon Hill upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Berry (Berry, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Berry lost 63-62 in their recent league bout against Pickens County (Reform, AL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Dora Bulldogs (Dora, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Oakman will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 53-44 non-league loss to Cordova (Cordova, AL).
