The Knights now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lord Botetourt for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 12. James River will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 68-61 league loss to Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-4.

The Cavaliers (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Mountaineers come into the Three Rivers battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Alleghany beat Grayson County (Independence, VA), 53-36, in a non-league battle.
