Louisiana High School Basketball - Carroll knocked off by Rayville

The Rayville Hornets basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Carroll Bulldogs to 56 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Central for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 15. Rayville will meet a Hurricanes team coming off a 67-63 non-league win over Fairview (Grant, LA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 8-9.
The Bulldogs (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA). The Panthers enter the 3A District 1 contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Sterlington ran past Mangham (Mangham, LA), 59-52, in a non-league contest.
