The Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD), 62-42 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Middletown (Middletown, MD). The Knights go into the CMC test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Middletown notched a victory over Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD), 60-58, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Smithsburg for a CMC test on Monday, January 23.
